Judy and David Chanukah Concert
For a group of excited children, Sunday November 18th was a great day to kick off the celebration of Chanukah. Approximately 150 children and parents turned out to enjoy the Judy and David Chaunukah Party at Notre Dame High School sponsored by Jewish Family Services. The Juno award winning musician/performers brought their best characters to the stage, entertaining both kids and adults alike. This wonderfully dynamic, high-energy team brought an interactive performance that wove together, a rich history and storytelling ability comparable to the days of old. The music and lyrics were an invitation to jump up and dance and the Chanukah party humour embraced both old and young throughout the entire performance.
At the end of the concert, Judy and David provided a treasure chest of golden dreidels for all the children and refreshments were enjoyed afterwards.
