Kosher Meals on Wheels is Desperate
By Christine Gray

In the spirit of chesed (kindness) and adivut (generosity), Kosher Meals on Wheels helps people each day through the process of providing nourishing Kosher meals to people who are, for whatever reason, unable to provide these meals for themselves.

To provide our Elders with such a simple kindness as driving a good meal to their home is no small thing for the Jewish community. Not only is it a necessary act of kindness, but is is a major mitzvah. Unfortunately, we haven’t enough people to provide this service to our clients.

Without a decent meal, their health and state of well being become compromised. Without your help, our hands are tied. The presence of a volunteer delivering the meal also provides these people with a sense that they have not been forgotten.

We are asking you to please come forward and volunteer to help bring nourishment and joy to someone in your community. Whatever time you can offer will go a long way to helping someone maintain their good health and a positive life.
