This highly acclaimed mentoring program recently won the prestigious 2003 Award of Excellence from the Canadian Race Relations Foundation. Since the program’s inception in 1991, Jewish Family Services has been working with the Somali community to develop community leadership and infrastructure, as well as to secure funding for the programs and services they offer. We have built a strong relationship that is now being showcased around the country as an example of successful partnerships and collaboration.
