Throughout Kindness Week, JFS  in partnership with Irvings Rivers held a drive to collect new pairs of socks for the StreetsSmarts Program. 

Every night of the year, Jewish Family Services hands out close to sixty pairs of socks to Ottawa’s homeless. A collection box was placed at Irving Rivers Ltd., 24 Byward Market during Kindness Week, and we were able to collect many socks. On Wednesday February 20 Irving Rivers Ltd made a special donation to JFS and the StreetSmarts Program.
