The Thelma Steinman Seniors' Support Services Unit

Most seniors tell us that, given the choice, they prefer to continue living independently in their own homes.

The Senior Services Unit at Jewish Family Services of Ottawa is designed to assist seniors and their families in accessing the resources and services needed to maximize independent living and enhance quality of life.

Many of these services are delivered free of charge, while others have a fee-for-service. Financial assistance is available on a sliding scale.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SHOAH SURVIVORS IN NEED
The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference) has designated The Cummings Center for Seniors in Montreal to administer two Emergency Assistance funds for the benefit of Shoah (Holocaust) survivors who are in financial need. Jewish Family Services Ottawa has been asked to submit applications on behalf of eligible survivors living in the Ottawa area. MORE....
