EMPLOYMENT WORKSHOPS

In cooperation with the LASI World Skills Employment Program, JFS delivers monthly employment workshops for new immigrants. The 3-day workshop aims at expeditingemployment, covering such topics as resume writing, cover letters, networking, interview skills, current labour market trends. This program also includes evaluating participants’ educational credentials and dispensing information on how to obtain/transfer the licensing or other credentials necessary for pursuing a particular profession in Canada.
